Event management

Barrel Entry Software

Online entries, the draw, a live timer and payouts, all in one place.

This is a barrel racing event platform that connects producers with riders. Producers create events, take online entries, run the draw, time the runs on a live console, and calculate payouts automatically. Riders enter in a few taps, see their draw position, follow results live and track their achievements. It also includes a clinic registration system for trainers.

Built for: Barrel racing producers, secretaries, associations and series organizers, plus riders and clinic trainers

✔ Proven in production: Barrel Entry Pro runs on this software.

Running a barrel race on paper, spreadsheets and phone calls wastes your whole weekend.

  • Entries come in by text, phone and Facebook message, and you re-type them.
  • The draw, drags and carry-only classes take hours to sort by hand.
  • Payout math across divisions and places is easy to get wrong, and riders notice.
  • Riders and spectators keep asking “where are we in the run?”

This software fixes that.

Barrel Entry Software questions

Can riders enter from their phone?+

Yes. Entries work on any phone, tablet or computer.

Do you handle payments?+

Yes. Riders can pay by card online, or you can run the event cash-only or with both methods. Card payments have a flat $1.50 processing fee paid by the rider.

Can multiple classes draw together?+

Yes. Combined draw groups let classes share one run order while payouts are still calculated separately.

How is the payout calculated?+

Gross pool = entry fees plus added money. The producer retain comes off first. The net pool is split by division percentages, then by place, and empty divisions or places are redistributed so the total always equals the net pool.

Can spectators watch results live?+

Yes. The Live page shows events in progress with no account needed.
